Role: Senior Sales/Lettings Negotiator

Hours: Full Time, 6 days per week (1hr lunch break per day)

Business Hours: Monday- Saturday 9.00am – 6.00pm; Sunday 10.00am – 4.00pm


Gravesend-based estate agent Aston Anderson is looking for a Senior Sales/Lettings Negotiator to join its rapidly expanding team. A relatively new branch, this is an opportunity for a highly motivated and driven sales individual to make their own mark on the company and make the role their own.


Industry experience and a good local knowledge are essential and you will need to evidence previous experience within residential sales and lettings, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment.

If you are passionate about Property & Customer service with a strong desire to do well in a thriving Independent business, then this is the role for you.




The role includes, but is not exclusive to, the following:

  • Actively pursue new leads and properties for listing, including cold calling and attending networking and local community events (which may occur outside of normal business hours)
  • Canvassing for new properties and providing valuations
  • Drive the creation of advertising of new and existing properties for all promotional avenues including property listing sites, website, social media, and print
  • Booking and conducting viewings on available properties
  • Building and maintaining customer and client databases
  • Conducting and managing negotiations on behalf of the clients and potential buyers/renters
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, landlords and customers
  • Work towards monthly targets regarding lettings and sales
  • Complete general office admin duties and support the sales and lettings team in delivering a high level of customer service
  • Support the marketing team in creating and delivering regular social media content including pictures and videos
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times and dress accordingly
  • Be a team player, as well as be able to work independently and with little supervision
  • Conduct regular self-improvement training to remain up to date with legislations, industry changes and developments etc. You may be tested on this occasionally


Key Skills


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work in a busy environment, as well as independently

- Strong organisational skills

- Ability to manage own diary and time

- Confident telephone manner

- Strong negotiation skills

- Full clean UK driving licence

- Previous experience as a Negotiator is essential

- Previous marketing and social media experience is desirable
